Riverside, Calif. — The Ramona Rams Girls basketball team took down a scrappy Anaheim team, now move on to the CIF State Division 5 Championship. During a interview on Fox Sports Radio AM1350, Coach Fletcher said this team was special, now we’re all getting a glimpse at just how special they are!
The Lady Rams took control of the SoCal Regional game by a healthy dose of Savannah “Bam Bam” Petty, who led all scorers, contributing 16 points. Petty was the clear aggressor in the game however, the game was won by an overwhelming presence in the inside. The Rams ability to control the boards on a undersize Anaheim squad was huge.
