The L.A. Clippers announced today that the team has exercised their third-year options on Jerome Robinson and Landry Shamet.
Robinson, a 6’5” guard from Boston College, appeared in 33 games for the
Clippers during his rookie season with averages of 3.4 points and 1.2
rebounds per game. The North Carolina native spent 24 games with the
Clippers’ G-League affiliate averaging 18.9 points and 4.2 rebounds for
Agua Caliente.
Shamet, a 6’5” guard from Wichita State University, was acquired by the
Clippers on Feb. 6, 2019 as part of a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Missouri native averaged 9.1 points per game and shot 42-percent
from behind the three-point line, earning him a selection to the NBA’s
All-Rookie Second-Team.
