Toby Gerhart, former Stanford Cardinal, coached by Jim Harbaugh, is used to 26 carries a game and rushing for 28 touchdowns for a season. During his NFL experience, primarily spelling for Adrian Peterson, has ran for 1, 419 yards in his career, now looking for a breakout season for the Jacksonville Jaguars. At Norco High, it seemed like he averaged 400 yards per game, causing havoc for Inland Empire defensive coordinators.
It’s been a rough transition to the Jaguars this season, as Gerhart has averaged just 2.6 yards per carry and has yet pick up 50 rushing yards in a game (2014 Season: 44 atts – 114 yds – 1TD). Toby has a big game coming up on Sunday versus a Steelers run defense that has held its past two opponents to a combined 105 yards on 30 carries. Gerhart, an IE Stand Out will find a way to rack up yards this season, as he’s done in the past! The dude is a BEAST, just ask anyone who’s had the tough task of tackling him!
