Broner was the victim of Twitter memes, taking a dive through the ropes! Doesn’t look like Pops will be brushing Broner’s hair (since he’s elected to grow his hair out), and he now wants to be taken serious.

Adrien Broner, a former three-division titleholder, will headline the show on Sept. 6 (Showtime) at the U.S. Bank Arena in his hometown of Cincinnati against Emanuel Taylor in a scheduled 12-round bout, Golden Boy Promotions said on Thursday, Lucas Matthysse will appear in the 10-round co-feature against Roberto Ortiz.

Andre Berto, former two-time welterweight titlist, coming off a 14-month layoff because of right shoulder surgery, also will make his return on the card against Steve Upsher.

The pre-fight press conference is MUST-SEE-TV, where Broner uses an interpreter, for his new lingo, “Bronish”.

Anyhow, the fight will be tomorrow, we’ll be watching and should be a good fight card from top to bottom.
