Oklahoma City, OK | The Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario rallied for the win against the Oklahoma City Blue 99-94 on Saturday Night at the Cox Convention Center. With this road game the Clippers improved to 10-7 on the season. This is the second meeting for the Clippers and Blue and twice the Clippers have come out on top. This is the third consecutive loss for the Blue.
The Clippers and Blue swapped buckets and leads from tip off, with 23 lead changes overall. In the first half, neither team led more than 6 points. With three minutes left in the fourth, the Clippers took the lead and kept it for the win. The Clippers dominated the Blue on the boards 50 – 39.
LaDontae Henton led the Clippers with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 for 4 shooting at the free throw line. J.J. O’Brien chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds and Tyrone Wallace added 16 points and 8 rebounds. Off the bench Tyler Roberson stepped up with 16 points in 23 minutes and Ike Iroegbu contributed 10 points. The Clippers were nearly perfect from the free throw line with 7 out of 8 connects.
