The IE Sports Net on FOX Sports Radio internship program provides college students with hands on experience and exposure to professional sporting events. Our program is intended to assist students who are interested in pursuing a career in the broadcasting industry. Before you begin the placement process, you must first apply and be accepted to the program.
Our Internship offers a vast array of experience. The IE Sports Net on FOX Sports Radio internship includes but not limited to responsibilities for organizing, preparing, coordinating, and executing promotional events. Also, the experience will include working with on-air talent, media production, and communicating with clients and advertisers.

 

Internships:

Media Production Department:

IESN is looking for a talented Videographer Intern to help film and produce on line video content to be used for TV, web and social media platforms.

Responsibilities include:
• filming promos for IE Sports Net
• filming IE Sports Net sports events
• promos for live broadcast of IE Sports Net on FOX Sports Radio,

 

Programming Department:

This internship is for students interested in practical experience in broadcast journalism. Intern will write stories, rewrite wire copy, learn audio recording and editing, and research stories. Intern will work with editors, reporters and other newsroom employees and receive feedback on their efforts.
