IE Sports Net Presents 2nd Annual “Inland Empire” National Signing Day
FONTANA, CA (January 26, 2015) — With the excitement of the college football season now finished, the immediate attention turns to National Signing Day. National Signing Day, much like the NFL Draft for the pros, has taken on a life of its own in recent years as its own special entity of the college football season. From the early morning hours, college football fans from around the country glare at their TVs as they wait for the next great prospect to hopefully sign a letter of intent to play for their beloved program.
IE Sports Net looks to build on this and the success of last year Inland Empire National Signing Day. Last year’s event attracted some of the best players in the Inland Empire, including the Riverside County player of the year, Corona Centennial’s Tre Watson, Vista Murrieta’s Kwesi Mashack, Norco’s Cory Young, Redlands’ Zack Lindsey and the San Bernardino County player of the year, San G’s Tahir Rasheed-Mills.
This year, again the best high school football players in the Inland Empire will make their collegiate choice official during the IE Sports Net – 2nd Annual Inland Empire National Signing Day event. On Wednesday, February 4, at 6:00 pm at the World Famous Auto Club Speedway of Southern California, in Fontana and on KVMD-TV Ch 23/Los Angeles. The masters of ceremony, IE Sports Net On-air Personalities, Brian Arrington, and Eddie Talbert, Jr. will give in-depth analysis along with each athlete commitment.
Scheduled to join IE Sports Net at Auto Club Speedway with to make their announcements live include, Kyle Hoppe (Chaparral); Dan Green, Elijah Jones, Josh Woods (Upland); Michael Neal, Khaylan Thomas (Etiwanda); Jihree Stewart, Greyson Bankhead, Burrell Haselrig (Corona Centennial); Caleb Repp (Los Osos); Nick Navarro (Jurupa Hills); Zamore Zigler (Carter); Tevita Mounga (Vista Murrieta); and Remmy Nerio (Arlington), confirmations from more scheduled players to attend to follow.
